SCF Containers 40’ two pallet wide side door container has been specifically designed and engineered to meet the requirements of the Australian domestic transport industry.

Since it’s introduction in 2001 SCF’s pallet wide side door container has become the industry standard. With proven successful design, ease of use and low maintenance costs, the SCF side door container has been widely accepted by the Australian transport industry.

Features

All SCF side door containers feature corten steel construction, including steel floors, and full width access on both sides. All SCF side door containers are two pallet wide and suitable for intermodal use with twistlocks at the ISO positions. SCF side door containers are designed so that a mezzanine deck can be retrofitted, and feature chain lashing boxes in the floor to allow cargo to be properly secured.

Our side door equipment meets CSC and “R” Series rating for carriage on road, rail and sea within Australia.

Constant product development and close association with end users has resulted in the development of several designs of side door container in order to provide maximum flexibility to our customers.

Options available are as follows.
•40’ x 8’6” side door container. Designed for use on rail corridors that do not allow transport of 9’6” containers. This container has all the standard features of the 9’6” container, steel floor, chain lashing points and full width access on both sides. Also available with SCF’s patented vent design.
